Mountain Peace Shelter: Established in 1986, PeaceWorks, Inc. is a private 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency that provides emergency shelter, advocacy and support services, and a 24/7 crisis hotline for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and other relationship crimes. The agency’s mission is to “inspire healing, hope and harmony within families and communities affected by relationship violence” in its 2,700 square mile encompassing all of Park County and the mountain communities of Jefferson County.
If you are in need of emergency shelter due to intimate partner violence or sexual assault, please call our 24 Hour Crisis Hotline at 303-838-8181 to speak with a confidential advocate.
Widow's Oil Pantry: Each Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Widow's Oil Pantry is open for anyone who is in need of food. No appointments are necessary, the pantry is operated on a walk-in basis. On your 1st visit you will be asked to complete a short form the primary purpose of which is to inform the pantry's suppliers about where the food is going. On each subsequent visit you only need to sign-in.
WOP operates under the non-profit [501(c)(3)] umbrella of Harris Park Bible Church.

Senior Alliance of Park County: Those of you that work with Seniors, caregivers and family that live with Seniors and especially Seniors themselves have a keen insight to what is needed here in Bailey. A new senior center will make a difference for Park County for years.

Our mission is to safeguard, rescue, shelter, rehabilitate, adopt out, and advocate for animals in need. We serve both animals and people by offering programs that promote animal health and responsible pet-stewardship that fosters compassion and improves the animal-human bond.

Deer Creek Elementary School: Platte Canyon School District has joined the Safe2Tell program as part of its safety enhancement efforts. Safe2Tell is a toll-free hotline, 1-877-542-SAFE (7233). Students, teachers, parents or any community member with a safety concern may call anonymously to make a report. The line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Colorado State Patrol communication center.
